DroidBake Privacy Policy

Overview

Nyfir Studios (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides DroidBake, an Android application for creating, building, repairing, editing and installing Android applications.

Local project data

DroidBake may process information locally on your device including imported source archives and project files; generated or modified source code; APK/AAB outputs where supported; build logs and diagnostics; Repair Reports and Change Reports; Project Memory, snapshots and history; local AI prompts and responses; application metadata; and signing identities.

These files are not uploaded to Nyfir Studios merely because you build, repair, create or edit an application. Private signing keys are intended to remain protected locally and are not uploaded to DroidBake’s backend as part of normal operation.

Local AI

Where DroidBake provides local AI functionality, prompts, relevant project context and AI processing are performed on the user’s device unless the user explicitly chooses an optional external AI service.

AI Boost and third-party AI services

DroidBake may offer optional AI Boost functionality allowing users to connect a third-party AI provider using their own credentials. When explicitly enabled, selected prompts or project information necessary to perform the requested task may be transmitted to that provider. The provider’s own privacy policy and terms apply.

Accounts and service data

Future or enabled versions of DroidBake may provide optional accounts and paid entitlements. Nyfir Studios may then process limited account and service information such as account identifiers, authentication tokens, entitlement status, purchase/subscription verification information, timestamps, and security/fraud-prevention information.

DroidBake’s cloud services are not intended to store users’ Android source projects, generated applications or private signing keys as part of normal build operations.

Purchases

Purchases made through Google Play may be processed by Google Play. Nyfir Studios may receive purchase and entitlement information needed to determine whether features have been purchased or remain active, but does not receive or store complete payment-card details from Google Play.

Build tools and downloads

DroidBake may connect to approved external servers to download Android SDK components, AI models or other verified resources. These downloads may reveal ordinary network information such as the user’s IP address to the hosting provider.

Data sharing

Nyfir Studios does not sell users’ personal data. Information may be shared only where necessary to provide a user-requested service, comply with legal obligations, protect users or the service against abuse, or when the user explicitly enables a third-party service such as AI Boost.

Data security

DroidBake uses technical measures intended to protect sensitive local information, including process isolation, restricted application storage, integrity verification and separation of private signing information from untrusted build execution. No software or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

Local projects, build history, reports, AI data and signing information remain on the user’s device until removed by the user, by an applicable DroidBake feature, or through removal of application data.

Server-side account and entitlement information is retained only as reasonably necessary to operate the account, maintain purchased entitlements, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Account deletion

When DroidBake accounts become available, users will be able to request deletion from within DroidBake and through Nyfir Studios’ external DroidBake account-deletion page. Deleting an account does not necessarily delete projects and other files stored locally on the user’s Android device.

Children

DroidBake is a software-development and application-creation tool and is not specifically directed toward children.

Changes to this policy

Nyfir Studios may update this Privacy Policy as DroidBake develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, notifying users through DroidBake or the official DroidBake website.
